I am a 29 yo female, current pharmacist fellow at the University of the Sciences in conjunction with Janssen Scientific Affairs, I just moved here from Ohio last year for my postdoctoral fellowship. I am looking for a roommate. My current roommate and I get along great, but she matched with a PGY2 in Houston. It would be available for move in for late June or early July. The apartment is a beautiful 2BR, 2.5 bath (pictures attached) located at 18th & Chestnut Street (for anyone unfamiliar with Philly, it's in Rittenhouse, which is a trendy and fun area of Center City), walkable to restaurants, bars, Rittenhouse Square, etc literally outside the doorstep (great location!). It is incredibly safe, with a doorman 24/7 and a gym. We currently pay $xxxx each per month (which is a steal for this apartment in this area). About myself: I am a Philly transplant, I was born and raised in Ohio, went to both undergrad and grad in Ohio (Xavier and Ohio State, respectively), and then moved here for my fellowship. I would be open to either a male or female roommate. The building is really quiet, noise has never been an issue for us. The apartment is ~xxxx square feet, there is a washer/dryer and dishwasher in the unit. Both bedrooms have their own on suite full bathroom. I have 2 couches, a TV, and a kitchen table, so really all you would need to bring is yourself and your bedroom furniture. Of course, if you have big furniture items you would like to bring, we can rearrange, I am flexible! The building itself is all condos, so we rent from the owner directly. The owner's name is Kate, I've not actually met her, but she has been very nice via and accommodating of us (there's a story to go with that, but too much to explain via ). She is a physician and lives/works in NYC (I think in her fellowship?). It's nice though that they are condos, because the people that live here are pretty established professionals.
