Reports each case of cancer in a format prescribed by the Pennsylvania Cancer Registry (PCR) within 180 days of the patientA?s discharge, if an inpatient or, if an outpatient, within 180 days following diagnosis or initial treatment Collects information from the patients medicalrecords to complete the extended data set asrequired by the Pennsylvania Cancer Registry Demonstrates knowledge with the Facility Oncology Data Standards (FORDS) manual, the American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) staging Manual, teh Collaborative Staging Manual, Hematopoietic Database Manual, Multiple Primary and Histology Coding Rules, and the SEER Summary Stage Manual. Assists with assigned activities requested by the Department Director that is related to Cancer Registry, Cancer Conference/Tumor Board.
